经典英文读后感 篇1
This story’s name is “The little prince”。 As it known to all, we will encounter a lot of difficulties, even hardships. Different people may have different ways to deal with them. After reading The Little Princess, I am deeply impressed by Sara’s way to deal with difficulties. The Little Princess was written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, a famous novelist and dramatist. Sara, the heroine of the novel, was born in a rich family. In order to get a better education, her father took her from India to London so that she could go to the best school. Because Sara was kind-hearted, generous and most of all—rich, she was loved by everyone. All went well until her father died in an accident. Everything changed completely. She didn’t understand why the teachers and classmates treated her so badly. Even the principal who used to be fond of her, made her work 16 hours a day. Sara’s miserable life began. When I finished reading the book, I was shocked by what the unimaginable pain Sara had suffered after her father’s death. She used to be a happy, worriless, and rich Princess, but now she was a lonely and poor servant. She had to work very hard without any rest but only had little food. Besides she had to endure the unfriendly and even rude ways that her classmates treated her. All teachers and students in the school looked down upon her. The most important fact is that Sara had lost the love and care of her parents. What a mighty pain! If you were Sara, could you stand such pain? Needless to say, an 11 years old girl, even if it were an adult, he might not put up with it. But to my surprise, Sara faced it bravely.
Despite of the torture of the principal and all those pressures above, she still was optimistic towards life. By reading this novel, I felt inspired and think much. When we meet such difficulties, what should we do? Some people always complain that the fate is unfair to them. Some people can’t sustain the hardships and choose to give up. Few of them even try to commit suic ide because they lack the courage to overcome it. Compared with Sara—an eleven years old girl who can treat the pressure of life with optimistic spirit, these people’s performances are sounded so lamentable. Why can’t they make it?However, what impress me most are her characteristics and the thought of her “being a real princess.” This “real princess” does not mean luxury palaces, beautiful clothes and the apple of the others’ eyes, but being kind, generous and having good manners. It is unnecessary for “a real princess” to be strong in body, but she must be strong in will. Sara is a real princess in my heart all the time, whether she was rich and wore beautiful clothes in the classroom or she was cold and hungry in the attic, just because she had the good characters and kind heart. The story went on. Fortunately, a friend of Sara’s father found her and told her that her father left a great sum of money to her. I pray and believe that every good person in the world deserve a good result, and of course, we are the same.
经典英文读后感 篇2
Here I am sitting on a couch alone, thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart, which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist, written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens.
The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all the characters in the novel, but what this aloof society lacks, and what I lack deep inside. These supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals, oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings, and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another —— love and care.
Those charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and care to others, just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth, which was carved into my heart deeply.
Mr. Brownlow is one such person.
The other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves, Artful Dodger and Charley Bates, and thought naturally it was Oliver, who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves, that had done it because he was the only one near by after the theft had taken place. Being wrathful, he caught Oliver, and sent him to the police station where the ill-tempered, unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him, Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy, Mr. Brownlow took the injured, poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow’s own son. One day, however, Mr. Brownlow asked Oliver to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while, Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically, they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation, Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil.
Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact, this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times, but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others.
Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.” These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore. Let us, therefore, enjoy life and treat other people lovingly. These principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together.

Ive just fininshed reading the first 4 Harry Potter books for about the 5th time through, and theyre just as magical and affecting as they have ever been. Everything is in here: suspense, adventure, mystery, humour, danger. Theres even some pretty satisfying paybacks. The characters are fantastic and fantastically realistic. There are bad people who turn out to be good guys and good people who turn out to be bad guys, just like life.
I think the thing I like best about these books is the message that its okay to be different - to be not "normal." I would love for everyone in school to have hear that message. It would probably reduce the bullying around the school.
These books value real thoughts. Much has been made of Harrys rule breaking, but only once in the series so far does he break a rule for arbitrary personal gain. Most of the time he makes a decision that whats right is more important than whats written. And you know what? Lifes like that sometimes. I think its great that kids are getting an example of how to do whats right even when it involves breaking rules. The Potter books also show that there are consequences for rule breaking. If not getting caught and getting a detention, then a spell going wrong and someone getting turned into a cat. This shows that when you make a decision to go against the rules that things may not go as you expected and you have to take responsibility for the outcome.

"Old Man and the Sea" to shape the success of a classic tough guy image. It is also the author of Hemingway won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Cuba said the book is a Fisher the to Santiago a man fishing alone in the 84 days after nothing caught a Marlins immeasurable. This is also the elderly have never seen more than heard of his boat two feet longer a big fish. Great efforts are also big fish pulled the boat drift for a whole two days and nights the elderly in the past two days and two nights have never experienced the hardships endured the test and finally the big fish to death tied to the bow. However at this time has been in the midst of the sharks the elderly and the sharks were life-and-death struggle the result of a shark or a big Marlins finished the old trailer home last only a bare skeleton of the fish.
Hemingways why the elderly did not let the final victory? Novels in the words of the elderly: "A person must not be defeated born" "people do can be destroyed but can not be defeated." This is the "Old Man and the Sea "philosophy would like to reveal. There is no denying that people will be as long as it is flawed. When a person is to recognize the shortcomings and efforts to overcome it and not to succumb to it regardless of the final catch of the Marlins a complete or an empty frame which have been does not matter because the value of a persons life has been Marlins in the hunt for the process of fully embodied. Have to strive for their ideals the struggle and I wonder if he is not a winner right?Fisher challenge is to own their own shortcomings and the winner of the courage and confidence. View from the secular point of view of the victory the winner will not be the last Fisher because despite his big win over the Marlins but the Marlins eventually let big sharks eat and he was just the bones of the dead with a big Marlins shelf back to shore that is to say the shark is the winner. However in the eyes of the idealistsFisher is the winner because he has not been to the sea to the big Marlins no compromise and surrender to the sharks. Beethovens music as the master said "I can be destroyed but I can not be conquered."
Humanity is a powerful human beings have their own limits but it is because such a personFisher again and again to challenge the limits beyond them this limits the expansion of only one one times the greater challenges facing the before mankind. In this sense this Fisher Diego Sandinista hero regardless of the challenges the limits of their success or failure are always worthy of our respect. Because he gives us is the most noble of human self-confidence!
Life itself is an endless pursuit. It is the road long difficult and full of ups and downs but as long as its own tenaciously to a brave heart to meet the challenges of self-confidence he will always be a real winner!

reading after a science paper
These days , I am busy preparing my dissertation which is about web usage mining . I read some English papers and learnt much from them . And now , I want to say something about a paper titled “Web Usage Mining :Discovery and Applications of Usage Patterns from Web Data”.
This is the first English paper I read about dissertation and gave me great help .
This paper is a review about web usage mining. It introduced web usage mining in detail . Although it is a little old for it was published in 2000 , its contents are very useful today . It is organized according to the sequence of web usage mining and the six main parts are introduction which tells me what is web usage mining , the sources and abstraction of web data , the three steps of web usage mining , taxonomy and project survey , websift overview , privacy issues . The third and fourth parts are most important . It had a list of existing project about web usage mining which I saw many times in other papers , but this paper is the one creating this list . Besides , it has been referred for more then twenty times . As we all know that , the higher the referred number is , the more important the paper is , so I consider this paper to be an important and successful one in this region.
In my opinion , the success of this paper dues to three reasons . The first reason is the profound computer knowledge owned by the authors . Web usage mining relates to many subjects , such as artificial intelligence , ontology , semantic analysis , but the most basic knowledge is computer science . The four authors are all professors of department of computer science and engineering in university of Minnesota . For myself , I am not major in computer science and I am not very good at computers , so I feel a little difficult to understand technologies used in this region.
Second , they had read a large number of papers before they wrote this paper . There are fifty nine references listed after main contents . “Stand on the shoulders of giants” , this sentence tell us a truth : one can never successful all by oneself . And what’s more , learn from others can save a lot of time and energy , especially for us new learner . How to learn from others is a skill all of us should master , but learning doesn’t mean copy or plagiary . Other people’s knowledge and production is just our foundation , upon this foundation , we must have our own thoughts and creation. There are many remarks in this paper where referred other’s production.
Third , the authors had the experience of developing a web usage mining project . They don’t just engage in idle theorizing , so their comprehension on this issue is greatly profound. They know what we may meet in a real project development and they know how to resolve them . After reading this paper , I also read some other papers written in Chinese . Some of them are not based on real project and can not give useful resolution . Websift is the name of system they developed which can be used to data mining and analysis .
I wrote this article not only because it gave me much help in preparing my dissertation , but also because it tells me how to study and how to do research . Honesty and preciseness are two essential making a researcher must have . Hard-working is the necessary condition leading to success . This is just the beginning of my dissertation , I should learn from these four authors , both their knowledge and their attitude to study.

The ‘ROBINSON CRUSOE’have been authored by famouse English writer---Defoe. It’s about dramatis personae Robinson who met a frightful wind while he sailed on the sea. He was the only survinal, but he drifted to a uninhabited island. He bravely struggled, industriously worked and combated with barbarians. Robinson lived alone on the island for 28 years. He experienced many difficulties and dangers.
Robinson was a great person, he conquered countleand unimaginable hardships. If I stayed on a lonely island, I absolutely couldn’t vanquish dangers. I maybe would lose confidence for life. I respect Robinson very much, he is a real hero in my heart.
He lived on the island for about 30 years without any food, tool or habitation. He must depend by himself. Robinson wasn’t afraid of hardships, he had the fortitude spirit .He was brave in adventure and was good at labor. He used his head and hands to struggle all the time. I admire his courge very much, because these were not easy, work at all.
In fact, we also need the spirit of being undefeatalle indefatigable.

经典英文读后感 篇9
Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:
We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.
We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodneon one side and must check the badneon the other side.
We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality.
We also remember her striving for life, her toughneand her confidence…
When we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality.
Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from her experience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty.

The night, the quiet night, to escape the noise of the city in the daytime, let himself immersed in a quiet, in his own small world, Mr. Shen Congwens "border city", thoughts with the change of characters in the books and ups and downs...
The border town is a love story, the plot is simple and graceful, Xiangxi mountain city tea Tong palm water dock Shun two sons of Tianbao and Nuo, while falling in love with the city side bexi old boatmans granddaughter Cui Cui. But Cui Cui was in love with Nuo. When Tianbao understood the truth of the love triangle, he knew not to be reluctant to withdraw from the competition. He had lost all of it, but unfortunately died. Although Nuo was still in love with Cui, his brother died in his heart, and he was misunderstood by the old boatman, And he left home in pain in Taoyuan. And Cui Cui alone bear all the changes, waiting, waiting for the person who may never come back, maybe tomorrow.
Poetic City, poetic life, poetic interpretation of life. The beauty of humanity reflected in the book is permeated with perfection, while Cui Cuis endless waiting shows the imperfection. Her love tragedy can be said to be the result of that age. She and exorcise could have been combined together to cultivate beautiful flowers of love. Unfortunately, the two people lost their hands and left long regrets.
And now who will give up his love? In todays society, who is willing to give up what he wants, perfect love is what we want to pursue. In the border town, Nuo gave up love for the sake of family ties, and family ties were important, but it was sad to give up love for the sake of family ties. And Cui, who did not know that Tianbao was because she could not get her love, went down and died, and did not know that exorcise was because she couldnt get her love and went away from the country. He did not know that his grandfathers sudden departure was all because of his happiness and worry. Later, after accompanying her Yang Ma soldiers to explain to her, she just woke up like a dream, which really made her feel sorry and pathetic for her.
This is the end of the story, what is the end? Leaving a suspense, did Nuo send back at last? Have they been together at last? I cant help falling into the illusion that I hope their lovers will get married. Seeing the "border city", let me make a doubt about the perfect love in the world again, and have an understanding of the human nature, but also understand that my own happiness should be fought for, wont get, and there is no regrettable.
The border town is such a tragedy of love and purity, which is permeated with light sadness and deep poetry, and a tragedy of human nature.

It seems the worlds few women do not love is not love Tiffany necklace, "necklace" reading. But the necklace is a charming feminine woman, a born beauty on the life of their life, she is beautiful, but life is not rich enough to marry a man, if the woman thought if a day will not be reduced to such a sad, but she for the dance to her rich friends borrow a ruby necklace. At the end of the dance, a thunderbolt, borrow Necklace disappeared, since then, the two husband and wife embarked on a lifetime debt repayment. Lamentable! Yes, terrible vanity! But in this society, who did not buy a house with vanity, for example, now the general working families to buy a house for his son, it is going to take a lifetime, but also can not spend money, but also learn to use of simple food, the mother must be very thrifty going on, "the necklace" reading ". For what? In order to bring advantages to his sons marriage, will not let others despise, in order to make his face add light.
Vanity is more reflected in modern women, more and more they are required to wear brand-name clothes, wear a few million yuan to watch, what is time accurate, watches the most useful to look at the time, a few million yuan to buy the table has lost its original meaning, but it brings vanity.
Real rich people dont spend money in this kind of place. They invest and help others. Gives the person is moved. With the world good vain true good every day, face the reality, to go its own way to let others speak.
Sadly, how is the greatest feeling I read necklace!

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
These verses are especially focusing on God’s salvation plan. Throughout the church age, the dominant teaching of most Biblical churches was to tell the brothers and sisters of the congregations how they might be sure they are saved or how they might become saved. A careful analysis of the teachings of these denominations invariably shows that they include the requirement that some contribution be made by the individual seeking salvation. These contributions could include actions such as water baptism, public profession of faith, the act of accepting Christ, the partaking of the Eucharist or communion table, or praying a certain kind of prayer. In virtually every case, there was a definite violation of the law of God, which clearly stipulates that all the work of saving a person was done by Christ, long before that person was born.
In Hebrews 8:10-11, quoted above, God emphasizes that once the full revelation of the Bible occurs, the teaching on salvation in the world will be altogether Biblical. Mankind will not be taught how they might become saved, but rather that salvation is entirely the work of God (Ephesians 2:8-9)。 God will saving a great multitude who actually may understand very little of the Bible.

"Love" in the history of English literature is handed down as a classic, it has successfully shaped the history of English literature first on love, life, society and religion, have taken a stand on ones own initiative and dare to struggle, dare to fight for free and equal status of women.
Almost all women love foreign literature, like D Charlottes "in love".If we think that Charlotte is only just to write this section of tangled up love to write "love".I think, sorry, thats not correct. The author also is a female, living in turbulent England in the middle of the nineteenth Century, when the thoughts have a brand new start. And in "Jane love" in infiltration is the largest such thoughts -- womens sense of independence.Let us imagine, if Jane love independent, has been killed in his childhood; if she did not share the independent, she already and wife Rochester to live together, began to have money, a new life; if she is not that the purity, we are now in the hands of "Jane love" is no longer a touching tears classic. So, I began to think, why "Jane love" let us be moved, fondle admiringly -- she is independent personality, beckoning personality charm.
However, we cant help wanting to ask, only this step can be independent?I think I wont. After all, womens independence is a long-term process, not accomplish at one stroke. It needs a thorough courage, love was like Jane decided to leave Rochester, need "wind rustling Xi the Yi River is so cold, strong earth to did not return" heroic and courage.I think, this should be the most crucial one step, also should be the decisive step towards independence. And Charlottes Jane love but her stubborn disposition, independent personality left us a moved. So she is successful, happy women.
Jane love has as an independent womens classic, I hope the sun, the flowers more Jane love out, whether poor or rich,; whether beauty, or homely, have good heart and enrich the mind, can the independent personality and a strong sexual life.
I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.
However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.
As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.
《茶花女》英文读后感 篇2
If a woman has even a tiny sense of dignity, she must shoulder any number of sacrifices rather than have her love varnished with venal character by asking for money from her lover. Extravagances, luxury as well as all other empery pleasures are valueless in front of love. As long as you love me, I ask for nothing else.
-------Marguerite(La Dame Aux Camellias)
Whenever I lingered over the magnificant story, I cannot help deeply touched by the bitterly sweet love, which struck the world as gentle as an April shower, as pure as a blowing snow, as heady as an old wine. It condensed a paradise into a kept woman’s heart, which caught and held us transfixed against prejudice in mind and greed in nature, , and provided a journey that brought home to us a comprehensive understanding of love.
Marguerite, as a kept woman, did not undergo the usual penalty of confronting wrinkles appeared under her eyes, the first death of a courtesans, but was endowed enough fortune to enjoy an unselfish and gorgeous love during her ephemeral life, witch came as a wonderful oasis to lead supply a new prospect in a disparate desert, appeared as a miracle medication to heal her wound in the sinful life, figured as a brisk spring to refresh and revitalize her lonely heart, and emerged as a great beacon of courage to kill all her bad habits in the past and make a firm determination to seek for a peaceful but fantastic life with her loved one.
Lingering between the words, we could completely feel how kind and dignified she was. She refused Armond although she knew he was really loved her with his soul. because of her gloomy despair of life, she did not turn up in his life as a figure who was sad, ill, gay with a giant sadder than grief, besides witch, who spit blood and spent a hundred thousand francs in a year. Touching this words, how can we avoid our zealous sympathy for her? She bickered with the marquis and drove him away from her family, because she hated and refused to be treated as merchandise. Touching her deeds, how could we deny our high respect for her? At last, she renounced all her hope and life just because another woman’s name. What she e although you may get hurt, but it is the only way you can live absolutely. But what she experienced, what she faced and what she did made her a real sublime angle and an eternal ideal woman in people’ heart.
However, no matter what devout wish, no matter what gorgeous love, or no matter what strong struggle, the society was so stone stubborn that it would never show any mercy for a kept woman. Just as Armond said, when God allow a kept woman to accept a real love, it is indeed a grant comfort, but also remorseless punishment, for the man holds the cruel authority to say to his lover, “ Your love is just a kind of commodity”, though the woman had devoted all her heart and spirits to her loves. It cannot denied that it was Marguerite’s joyous fortune to have Armond in her poor destiny, but at the same time, it is also have to be admitted that what a hopeless torture she tolerated and what a disappointed suffering she endured at the last part of her life. It was really too much to her. We even cannot tell what kind our feeling soared inside our bosom, but just happy with her, sad with her, waiting with her, wishing with her, and disappointed with her……
Shall we criticize Armond for his foolish and brute deed to Marguerite as he got the same hurt by his horrible vengeance? Shall we condemn Armond, father for his selfish monologue which destroys the kind woman’s dream? Shall we judge the motionless merchant and policemen’s actions before the dying woman?
Through the whole story, we could feel that Maguerite pardon all of them. After tearing running down faces countless, and respect rising high in heart and soul, the conclusion seems so obvious: what ruined Marguerite is not Armond, and he never betrayed Marguerite, but the society. There was a slim chance for a kept woman to gain happiness at that epoch; they had to come to the same end in different ways.
To every woman, life is not all roses. In spite of bias, despoilment or hardship, love itself is universal. Marguerite really lives an abundant life, for she really appreciated a comprehensive love in her limited life journey.
So, love srongly and passionately, although you may get deeply hurt, but it is the only way that you live completely.
Best wishes for love, and best wishes for loved ones.

Throughout France and China, fewpeople know the name “Al Fang Xenon Plessey”, however, quite a lotof people have read La traviata and have got to know somethingabout the marvelous love story.
Al Fang Xenon Plessey was theoriginal character of the heroin in the famous French Literaturework La Traviata. The moving, tear-jerking love story was adaptedand recreated from Al Fang Xenon Plessey’s experience. La Traviata waswritten by Dumas. In fact, the story told in the novel was almostexactly the love story between Dumas and his lover.Dumas, whosefather was also a famous writer, did not live a very goodchildhood. Instead, because of his special identity as anillegitimate child, he was often made fun of by his fellows.Alexander Dumas, his father, was so ungrateful that he abandonedDumas and his weaver mother immediately after he got somereputation and put himself into a new, luxury world. Eventually hethought of little Dumas and his poor mother. At that time, he haddeveloped a very intimate relationship with an actress and had justhad a newly-born daughter. Alexander Dumas adopted little Dumasthrough legal way, leaving the weaver alone. What a miserable lifeshe had been living!Pure and plain as Dumas was, hegradually changed with the surroundings. It was not his fault!Living in a materialistic surrounding, especially under the exampleof his father, who had lived an extravagant and luxury life, Dumassimply couldn’t avoid been involved in the polluted society andgradually adapted to the shift from a freshman to a bad guy likehis father. He, also, began to seek for extravagance, sex andreputation. “What the father look like, what the son will be” isoften referred when people talked about this father andson. However, we know that Dumas hadlived with mother for 7 years, during which time he had beenreceiving formal and integrity education. Hence, even though Dumaswas living a dissolute life, he was still with conscience. We shallnever forget that Dumas began writing at a very young age, evenwhen he was still a teenager, he had release quite a few novels andpoems. But all his early works were not paid attention.
It was LaTraviata that gave Dumas an important place in French literature.Or more precisely, we should say it was the fascinatingencountering of Dumas and Al Fang Xenon Plessey that made Dumasworld famous. The love story inthe novel went almost exactly as the real story. The only evidentdifferences are the names. In the novel, the hero was named Armanand the heroin was named Margaret while Dumas and Al Fang XenonPlessey outside the story.Margaret was a popular Parisprostitute. One day when Alma was attending an opera, Margaret wasso attractive and shining that Alma noticed her immediately out ofso many ordinary women and fell in love with her at the firstsight. After the show, with help of a neighbor of Margaret, Almawas introduced to Margaret. They had a meal together that night.Margaret seemed to be very delighted, she laughed, spoke loudly. However, she coughed very badly. Silently she left her seat andwalked into her bedroom when others were right in the mood. Almafollowed her. She was having hemoptysis, which scared Almaterribly. He sincerely tried to persuade her to take good care ofherself. Such advice and persuasion may seem common but it strokeMargaret. Never in her life had she been greeted and cared about assincerely. After all, the two became closely connected and beforelong Margaret agreed to date with Alma.
We can hardly tell whether Almaloved Margaret out of love or out of sympathy. Because throughouttheir contact, Alma did persuade Margaret to take good care andpreserve her well. What’s more, he even accompanied her to thecountryside to recuperate, as has never been doneothers.Intimate time as they had, at lastthey had to break up. Alma’s father was a reserved, loyal man whowould never allow a prostitute to enter his family. Secretly hemade an agreement with Margaret which forced Margaret to leaveAlma, claiming that it was the way to show her love and loyalty toAlma. That Margaret died in despair wassomething within expectation though very saddening. She had beenill for a long time but she never really tried to do herself good.Addicted in the luxury world, she was not capable of druggingherself out of it.Crazy went Alma when he got to knowthe bad news. It was really a long time for him to come back tohimself. Even, he didn’t believe that Margaret had died until heopened the coffin and saw the scaring face of his oncelover.Outside the story, Dumas also wasvery desperate about Plessey’s death. However, he did not revealhis emotions. Neither had he written down something as a tributenor had he frequently been to the Montmartre Cemetery to show hisyearnings. But that he was deeply shocked was without doubt.Everything had gone too fast for him!
When Dumas finished his travel toNorth Africa and came back to Paris, the view of the empty room wasso striking that Dumas thought he should do something to memorizeMargaret. In only one month Dumas created the famous novel, whichturned out to be really a hit to the whole world. Coincidence ornot, Dumas was also buried in the Montmartre Cemetery. The twointimate lovers could only continue their storyunderground.

The Lady of the Camellias is a classic book that written by famous author called Alexandre Dumas. The story set in Paris. There are two main characters in this book, Marguerite Gautier and Armand Duval. Marguerite is a pretty and young courtesan, or kept woman.A courtesan can#39;t have the true love. But she falls love with a young man, Armand. She tries to get away from her questionable past and lives with Armand forever. But when Armand#39;s father, Madame Duval knows that his son is falling love with a courtesan, he separates them. After Armand finds that his father lied him, he goes back to Paris, but Marguerite dies painfully and alone.
I really enjoy this when i was reading it. Marguerite taught me a lot. To love someone is just let him or her be happy.Marguerite throws out the lord who can repays her all debts and lives with Armand. But when Armand#39;s father reminds her that she is just a courtesan, she realized she can#39;t be recognized in Armand#39;s family, she will stain Armand#39;s reputation. So she leaves him. Marguerite#39;s love is unselfish. Her self-sacrifice saved Armand#39;s reputation.

Suddenly, I remembered asaying: “Women are like the flowers”. Those pretty women are likethose beautiful flowers; their delicate beauty makes people feelthey are the miracle of life. However, even the God envies theirbeauty. It seems that beautiful women always have tragic endings. As we are normal persons, even we can see the hideousness ofhumanity that results in their fate of withering, we can at mostask quietly in our hearts: Where have those beautiful flowers gone?Where have they gone?

The name of English literature:
A.《Robinson Crouse》
B.《The book thief》
《Robinson Crouse》
Daniel Defoe, the writer of 《Robinson Course》was born in a merchant family in London in 16六十、 His novels were all finished at his senior age. The work《Robinson Crouse》
and《Mole Fronds》and so on significantly affected the development of fiction in Britain and even in Europe. He was also considered the “Father of Fiction in Britain and Europe”. He was just a merchant before he wanted to write frictions and he had never though about being a wrier. He had ever managed his own business such as underwear production materials industry, alcohol and tobacco industry and so on. He experienced bankrupt and lots of failures, but never gave up until he was at an old age. Where he falls over himself, where he picks himself up. While managing corporation, he constantly participated in the politic activities at the same time. He was sent to prison several times by police because of his aggressive comments on the policy made by local government. The articles written by him were numerous as he joined in about five magazines, which showed his extreme energy. The success of this book is never a coincident that all his experiences provided the thoughts and skills that were needed. It was said that this book had been published many times less than 《Bible》. Now, it is praised as the first full-length novel in the literary history of Britain, which is a valuable contribution to the world literature.
《Robinson Crouse》was created when Defoe was inspired by a true story. In the 1800’s, there was an England sailor whose name was Alison; he once had a conflict with the captain, which was left on a small island. He had noting but sea and sand. With an amazing determination, he lived nearly five years and a half and eventually found and brought home by the famous navigator named Luis in 17七十一、 This event was once a panic in society at that time. He did not do a few special things deserved great respect, instead, what the sailor just did was some things necessary for survival. In general, he performed negatively rather than positively. But what Defoe described was the represent of new class of capitalism which was an ideal hero who announced the importance of work and development. He was against just enjoying life and content with that people should be full of curiosity, the desire of conquer and the sprit of risk to develop outward, which proved the convention of western ocean civilization. This book highly praised the work sprite and quality of persistence in human being, which had created the new way for western realism.
The main plots of《Robinson Crouse》are introduced as follows:
Robinson Crusoe was born in the year 1632, in the city of York, of a good family. As he always wanted to travel around the world by sea, he did not listen to his father’s sincere
advice and left his home, becoming a crew of a ship. They were attacked by pirates somewhere near the shore of Africa. After that he became a slaver. The life of being a slaver was actually tough and upset that he could not bear. Finally, he got a chance and he grasped it and successfully escaped from that place. Fortunately, he was saved by a Spanish vessel on the way to Brazil. When he arrived at Brazil, he started to manage plantation and he made a great fortune. He made up his mind again to make a voyage as some people suggested him sailing to Africa for trading black slave. He was knocked down again by his inclination to go to the sea. This time was beginning of his unfortunate. The ship encountered a big storm that they had never seen before. With six days’ and nights’ blowing and trembling, the ship was finally all swallowed up. No one had a life exclude Robinson who was rushed to the beach of an unknown island by waves. Although he luckily survived but he at the same time faced the challenge he had never experienced. In order to make a living, he began to transmit things in the ship to the island including grain, cloth, tools and so on. With these materials, he started his life in the island alone. Living such a lonely life that no one talked to him and sometimes he did not say any word at all for about one week, he had to read《bible》to fulfill his sprit every day. However, with the amazing determination and persistent labor, he built his own house, gained grain, tamed goats and made cloth with animals’ leather. Later, he adopted a wild man as his servant and named him Friday. At the period of time, he experienced plenty of disturbances until a British ship came here and Robinson helped the captain to subdue the rebels. After that, he was picked up back to Britain where he had been away for 28 years. When he went back home, his parents had already passed away. Robinson resumed all the profits of his plantation in Brazil and gave part of them to people who had ever helped him.
One of the critics in Britain said: “If people want to grasp the sprit that is full of energy and confidence, nothing better than Defoe and ,《Robinson Crouse》. That is, as the classic adventure, doer and colonist, Robinson always has its valuable place in the history of didacticism.
《The Book Thief》
Everyone has the same start that he or she comes to the world crying and the same ending that is death. In the western myth, death is cold and chill with a long sickle in his hand
to reap lives and take people away from the noisy world. The relater inwritten by Markus Zusak was the death who wondered around the streets taking away lives as God told him. However, the death was not indifferent. He used his dark eyes staring at some people’s sprits. When he reaped people’s lives, he could become tender as well. There was one Germany girl called “The book thief” by him among all these sprits he focused on.
The girl’s name was Liesel Meminger. She had ever stolen six books totally and written a fiction < the book thief> according her own experience. That was the reason why the death called her “the book thief”. The death was pretty tender to the girl: She lived a long life and finally passed away peacefully in her sweet sleeping. However, the death nearly took everybody’s life one by one around her: First, her father as a member of German Party was sent to the prison. Later, she watched her brother being killed who was only six years old; several years later, her adoptive parents were murdered by Germany soldiers. Rudy, a boy who smiled a lot and ran like a bird was killed as well.
Planes, tanks, bombs and so many other modern products were much more precise and efficient to take away lives, which made the death appear lots of times everyday. Dead bodies, wandering sprits and the busy death were the pictures described by this book. It was something to tell people that no truth in people’s life and death was the final meaning. And because of that the fiction also hid a question that where was the meaning of living when we faced the final existence of death? We can see from the book that the meaning doesn’t lie in the lifestyle of Hitler which is emphasizing struggling by oneself, standing on the top of the privilege and building his plan on dismissing others’ life. Living like this is worse than dyeing directly. Likewise, the meaning of life does not lie in giving up thinking about life, disposing of inner humanism and ignoring and insulting lives which are filled with weakness. These Nazi people ignored Jews who suffered a lot, which resulted in the final ending that their lives gradually became noting with development of the World War Two.
The massage 《The book thief》tries to convey is quite simple: It is the very reason that we can not resist death why the real stuff is the most valuable treasure God gives us. Every life, regardless of Germen or Jew and child or adult deserves to be respected equally. The girl’s name was Liesel Meminger who became an orphan after her father’s being caught, her brother’s death and his mother’s missing. What a great sorrow for such a little girl who was
only 9 years old. Inferiority, stubbornness, flimsiness and loneliness fill up her heart and she always longed for love and safety. She just wanted to get relief and suck the sprit energy from the words in the book stolen by her to prevent herself from loneliness. The life of Max Vandenburg who was a Jew deserved respect. In order to escape the ethnic cleaning, he had no way but lived a life in the basement of Beumer’s house like a mouse that could not exposed to the sunlight. What he eager for was a life with freedom and dignity. When residents of Hammill Block hid in the bomb shelter for safety, Max took a risk going out basement to see the moon though the window at which he hadn’t looked for nearly 22days without considering the threat from the air. He came back to the basement and wrote the beautiful but desperate sentence:“Stars lighted up my eyes while looking though out the window of Hammill Block.” The rights of being loved, living and freedom combined together and that is the respect to lives. They always shouted to love and concern which has surpassed concept of racial, sexism, age, blood relationship and so on. In, the doer was Liesel’s adoptive father-Hans Hubermann. He respected every life. He helped his adopted daughter to scatter the nightmare, strake her sorrow, teach her writing and reading and give her endless love. In spite of knowing about the dander of taking Jews in, he decided to protect Max Vandenburg as much as he could. When he watched Jews were captured by Germen on the street, he couldn’t help approaching and giving the old Jew a piece of loaf in his hand. He was beat heavily by the Germany soldiers because of that. The same thing happened when the person was Leisel’s adoptive mother, Rose Hubermann who had this kind of love as well. She yet couldn’t know a lot about her daughter’s inner world like his husband did, but she could hold her daughter’s hands firmly while the plane throwing bombs. The smart, strong and bold woman who brought the hot food to Max at the first time accepted him with her real action. This kind of parents had this kind of kid who’s like Liesel. She read books for people who hid in the shelter when bombs exploded outside in order to comfort them. She lived with Max and Bowman’s. They loved each other, cared each other and enjoyed mutual respect and emotion, finally becoming relatives who were bone of the bone and fresh as close as fresh and blood. She changed this kind of emotion as the deep sympathy to the whole Jews.
In, it was the war brought by Hitler that killed numerous people like the couple of Bowman as one hand, on the other hand, it was the people who ought to have
been already forgotten that survived with the help of Bowman. They were “the book thief” Liesel, Max and so on. On the one side, there was nonsense death and destruction going on, on the other side, love that resisted death and subdued death was being created. This was such a complex world that made death confused and moved deeply.

The love story in the novel went almost exactly as the real story. The only evident differences are the names. In the novel, the hero was named Arman and the heroin was named Margaret while Dumas and Al Fang Xenon Plessey outside the story.
Margaret was a popular Paris prostitute. One day when Alma was attending an opera, Margaret was so attractive and shining that Alma noticed her immediately out of so many ordinary women and fell in love with her at the first sight. After the show, with help of a neighbor of Margaret, Alma was introduced to Margaret. They had a meal together that night. Margaret seemed to be very delighted, she laughed, spoke loudly. However, she coughed very badly. Silently she left her seat and walked into her bedroom when others were right in the mood. Alma followed her. She was having hemoptysis, which scared Alma terribly. He sincerely tried to persuade her to take good care of herself. Such advice and persuasion may seem common but it stroke Margaret. Never in her life had she been greeted and cared about as sincerely. After all, the two became closely connected and before long Margaret agreed to date with Alma.
We can hardly tell whether Alma loved Margaret out of love or out of sympathy.() Because throughout their contact, Alma did persuade Margaret to take good care and preserve her well. What’s more, he even accompanied her to the countryside to recuperate, as has never been done others.
Intimate time as they had, at last they had to break up. Alma’s father was a reserved, loyal man who would never allow a prostitute to enter his family. Secretly he made an agreement with Margaret which forced Margaret to leave Alma, claiming that it was the way to show her love and loyalty to Alma.
That Margaret died in despair was something within expectation though very saddening. She had been ill for a long time but she never really tried to do herself good. Addicted in the luxury world, she was not capable of drugging herself out of it.
Crazy went Alma when he got to know the bad news. It was really a long time for him to come back to himself. Even, he didn’t believe that Margaret had died until he opened the coffin and saw the scaring face of his once lover.
Outside the story, Dumas also was very desperate about Plessey’s death. However, he did not reveal his emotions. Neither had he written down something as a tribute nor had he frequently been to the Montmartre Cemetery to show his yearnings. But that he was deeply shocked was without doubt. Everything had gone too fast for him!
When Dumas finished his travel to North Africa and came back to Paris, the view of the empty room was so striking that Dumas thought he should do something to memorize Margaret. In only one month Dumas created the famous novel, which turned out to be really a hit to the whole world. Coincidence or not, Dumas was also buried in the Montmartre Cemetery. The two intimate lovers could only continue their story underground.
《茶花女》英文读后感 篇10
"La Traviata" is a classic immortal novel, has swept the world, tens of millions of issuance, opera, drama, film and television works of thousands. The author Dumas with his portrayal of life to weave a poor, pathetic, alas, lovely, amiable, respectable prostitute destiny, La Traviata Margaret in the fickleness of the world customs, social background, to find a true love, and this love will be kept out of the world. Poor a roll of Camellia female, broken all the world swing son soul!
Poor and amiable - and Armand love, to love the innocent Margaret, everything can be sacrificed to her as long as he loves himself, nothing more. She had to reduce the burden of Armand, secretly sold her jewelry, jewelry, which fully shows a amiable girl pure, selfless, pursuit and persistence of love, but her purity can not resist the Armand really loved the seven emotions and six sensory pleasures, although Margaret, but because of the misunderstanding, blindly extreme suspicion. The results hard to revenge, with their love shame so innocent and poor young girl. She did not voluntarily choose this dirty road, but she was forced by society. I think it is because of this sad fate that inspired her and bravely found what she really wanted and looked forward to. And Armand abandoned all the pursuit of their own happiness, spent in the country, I think it is the only happy time in her life, she is like a child, lively, naive. She is trying to be an ordinary person, ordinary appearance, ordinary life, at least they can make her happy, not by money, she is worthy of love, because of her courage, because of her persistence, because her in the real, fling caution to the winds, touch tone, showing a a sad and lovely beautiful and elegant figure.
Alas, Armand and Margaret - honorable matchmaking old prostitute F Lui Don S during the debt in her ill, and not only what did not help her, but dont even see her, it shows what? Margaret is the cry sad tired of hard life, is a respectable figure, a lost death scene. Margaret worthy of respect, peoples hearts are the most incisive Jiachou foil the soul of the value.
Article two: [reading] Camille
This is a Dumas "La Traviata" report. I have read this book for a short period of time, feeling really profound feelings and thinking, to record their own, but think what questions cant express my feeling after reading, whether it is the vision of imagination or grief, mourning, feel is not accurate enough, if it is called the book, I also simple. Can make the only correct title.
Who is the most noble and respectable whore in the world? Believe that more than half of the people will say "Margaret", do not rule out that some will say that Du Shiniang, Li Shishi or something, but their influence is significantly less than the former. Indeed, she is beautiful. Pure, kind and selfless, elegant, although prostitution. Still maintain a pure heart and independent personality. She is the lover of Armands love is as keen as selfless enough to commendable. Besides, Margaret is out of shape based on the true story of the processing, and his portrait is really beautiful.
Of course, the novel is not to depict the highlight of Margarets appearance and character, mainly the sentimental love story, and the end of doomed tragedy, and the real delicate psychological description. Especially Armands psychological description is simply an inspired passage. The truth, the substitution of sex, are not questioned. As if he were Armand, Margarets love, is his own love for her.
Generally speaking, a novel is a tragedy, a tragic tragedy, and this tragedy is inevitable. Fireworks womens love is so difficult to think over, and mens paranoia and monopoly desire will inevitably lead to the development of this tragedy. While I was reading, I was wondering if Armand was a Scorpio, and that personality seemed to be the picture of the sky crab. However, there is no way to verify it. In fact, no matter what constellation, as long as falling in love with a man, will inevitably have the same idea as he.
I dont need to say more about the plot of the novel. Its so famous. Im sure most people would have read it. Even my mother has seen it. At the end I talk about the author of the novel Dumas.
Dumas was Alexandre Dumass illegitimate child, at the age of 7 was admitted by Alexandre Dumas. I like Alexandre Dumass work very much. Popular, but it has an unusual appeal. From the view of the camellia girl, the book is difficult to find the shadow of Alexandre Dumas, but still the same classics, long lasting. The book was written by the author when he was 24 years old, based on his own experience. At that time, the prototype of the camellia woman had just died. By the famous dumas. Thats what we call "dead money.". Little man has many works in his life, but no one can compare with his own confession, which is another great tragedy of his.
