Beowulf is the nephew of king of the Geats who lives in Denmark. He defeated the monster, which raided the hall built by the king of the Danes. Later on, Beowulf becomes king of the Geats. He at last dies a heroic death.

2023日本电影《最终幻想15:王者之剑》观后感一：

翻看近期公映作品的档期表，观众会发现这个周末有一部很奇特的电影将要公映，《最终幻想15：王者之剑》。熟悉的观众会了解，这是根据日本著名游戏大厂史克威尔艾尼克斯(SQUARE ENIX，如下简称SE社)的系列游戏《最终幻想》改编的电影;不熟悉的观众，则会纳闷，这套电影怎么都出到15部了?之前怎么没听说过?

别看顶着一个“15”的标签，本片只是《最终幻想》的第三部电影。且根据游戏中彼此独立的故事，三部电影之间也没有任何联系，完全都是独立的故事。

《王者之剑》是游戏《最终幻想15》的前传，虽然系列创作者坂口博信早已不在SE社，但他的风格还是延续了下来。欧洲中世纪服饰与洛可可建筑，混搭着未来乌托邦科幻风，以及融合了魔法奇幻的世界观，构成了这部作品的基石。对于玩过游戏的朋友来说，电影世界观满满熟悉的即视感。而没有玩过游戏的朋友，在前期可能对电影几个国家的纠葛有些云山雾绕。

关于这部电影，只要牢记这是一部根据游戏改编的电影即可，与近期公映的《生化危机6》《刺客信条》本质上是差不多的，唯一的不同点，就是《最终幻想15》乃是一部CG电影，完全由电脑CG生成，演员只是隐藏在幕后完成了动作捕捉以及献声。往大面上说，本片属于动画电影，不过从电影的质感和形式上，与我们传统意义上理解的动画电影不太一样，这里我们给这类作品起了一个名字叫做“真人CG动画”。

影史上第一部“真人CG动画长片”，就是2001年《最终幻想：灵魂深处》，一时间关于“CG取代真人演员”的危机论四起，搞得演员工会的人心惶惶，生怕自己丢掉饭碗。好在当时，CG电影的理念太超前，观众无法接受，导致电影票房惨败，直接亏损9000万美元。演员们的饭碗保住了，《最终幻想》创始人坂口博信的饭碗却丢掉了。至此，除了罗伯特·泽米基斯和斯大爷这类技术控曾经试水过《贝奥武甫》、《丁丁历险记》等作品之外，好莱坞这类“真人CG”几乎绝迹。

没想到，墙内开花墙外香，“真人CG”电影在日本却成了气候，以《最终幻想7：圣子降临》为首的真人CG电影异军突起，随后又有《苹果核战记》《哈洛克船长》《圣斗士星矢：圣域传说》等同类作品面世。但也许您要问了，既然CG角色无法取代真人演员，那么这类“真人CG动画”存在的意义又是什么呢?

原因很简单，尽管CG动画的后期制作难度不亚于真人电影，有的甚至更加繁琐。真人电影需要演员在绿幕和动作捕捉等技术下完成表演，还要考虑现实摄像机机位和轨道摇臂等技术限制。而CG动画则可以省略即时拍摄的步骤，在计算机中通过CG建模进行全方位模拟，高速摄影、打斗特效和环境变化，并完全无视物理空间的限制。单凭这一点，CG动画某些时候就会塑造出比真人电影更加夸张的视觉效果。

这一点在如今《最终幻想15：王者之剑》中体现的尤为深刻。

电影的`开场，王者之剑团队多人围攻大怪兽场面，让人想起了《圣子降临》中的经典桥段。本片导演野末武志就是当年《圣子降临》的副导演，以单独角色为主视角，随后再以长镜头跟踪到另一名角色，依此递进，汇成了超级热血宏观战斗场面。

同理，电影后30分钟的连场打斗效果依然经典，长达6分钟的公路飙车，尼克斯与大反派在楼层之间快速旋转镜头的白刃战场面效果，在召唤圣人肩头上的苦战，从微观场面到宏观效果，这样的镜头调度，无需演员在绿幕前费劲的上下翻飞，只需3D即时验算之后，在建模基础上完成即可。对比真人电影，如好莱坞特效大片《超人：钢铁之躯》《复仇者联盟》等真人PK电影依然没有做出如此嚣张的效果。这就是“真人CG动画”所存在的价值。

炫目的打斗场面和以假乱真的场景特效、结尾大战360度无死角PK，为的就是完成真人电影无法达到的那种炫目特效。同时，在另一个层面，片中的男性角色，几乎清一色的是络腮胡子茬，这些角色，设计苛求细节，连眉毛、睫毛、胡子都按照扫描数据一根根定制，就这么任性。

说穿了，我们在“炫技”。

对比于以《圣子降临》为首的日式CG动画，本片的特殊之处在于启用西方面孔的演员，倒是跟《灵魂深处》比较类似。电影采用的是“影描”(rotoscoping)技术(动作捕捉的一种)，即将部分真人表演的影像，动作捕捉和面部捕捉同步进行，随后转换为CG画面。理查德·林克莱特的《梦醒人生》与《黑暗扫描》采用同样的技术，因此角色肢体运动甚至表情不存在CG动画中的生硬现象。

从第一部“吃螃蟹失败”的《灵魂深处》，到如今美日CG动画发展出截然不同的风格，真人CG动画电影，这种独特的影像载体，15年之后已成为大银幕上一道异色的风景线，无论是《苹果核战记》系列，还是SE社的《最终幻想7：降临之子》，乃至这部《王者之剑》，真人CG动画在有别于美系CG的风格的基础上，秉承的高难度炫目的打斗效果，且带有极强的炫技特色，似乎在向真人电影宣战以报当年惨败之仇：“You Can You Up!”

诞生于1987年，Square Enix公司旗下的“最终幻想”系列迄今为止的作品累积销量已经突破了一、2亿美元，是这个世界上最畅销、最有分量、影响力最广的电子游戏系列之一。在这30年里，每一部“最终幻想”都代表着当时日本游戏产业最顶尖的技术水平，而贯穿系列的光明与黑暗、魔法与科技、爱情与友谊，以及永远的水晶主题，即便今天也仍旧让无数国内玩家津津乐道。
