　　在贫民窟长大的孤儿贾迈尔·，参加了一个电视节目——，只要答对所有的题，他就可以拿到2000万元的奖金。

此前连受过高等教育的律师、政客、学者都在这个节目中一一败下阵来，18岁的贾迈尔却能一路过关斩将，直冲向最后一晚的最后一道题，只要回答这最后一个问题，他就能拿到最后的奖金。

可就在这时候，贾迈尔却因涉嫌作弊被警察逮捕。

是啊，谁能相信一个几乎没有文化知识的小男孩能答对所有的问题呢

而又有几人知道贾迈尔真正参加这档电视节目的初衷只是为了寻找他一生的挚爱——拉媞卡。

那些答案伴随着贾迈尔充满血、眼泪和恐惧的人生轨迹，见证了印度普通百姓的悲欢离合，以及追求幸福生活的艰辛坎坷。

　　贾迈尔并不是天生的圣人，他那悲天悯人的淡淡哀伤始终贯穿在整部电影中，三个火枪手的分离为日后贾迈尔挽救拉提卡的一切努力做了极好的铺垫。

贾迈尔从开始逃亡产生的同情，在和拉提卡共患难时进化为友情，在乞丐集团时升华为亲情，到青少年时期违背诺言的愧疚成为他寻找拉提卡的动力，之后第一次拯救拉提卡令爱情萌发在两人之间，整条感情线清晰纯洁令人动容。

　　三个火枪手中的另一位，贾迈尔的哥哥舍利姆，同样塑造的非常成功，他与贾迈尔的性格完全相反，他没有任何道德约束，没有不现实的浪漫气质，他相信适者生存，行事果绝。

他有救贾迈尔的勇气，有杀死黑帮头目的果断，也有出卖拉提卡换取富贵的贪婪和残忍，但在最后一刻，却被贾迈尔的执着所打动，救出了拉提卡，将自己埋在毕生追求的金钱中，与黑帮头领火拼，从容赴死。

其实这个人物最接近笔下的三个火枪手的共同性格，即对俗世的声名财富有着热烈的追求，但又将友情置于自己最为看重的名利之上。

　　三个火枪手中，拉提卡代表爱情，舍利姆代表亲情，贾迈尔偏代表友情和大爱。

这从后来贾迈尔和在乞丐集团不幸被毒瞎变为盲童的孩子相遇，可看出贾迈尔对于自己幸免遇难深深愧疚。

这些不幸的孩子命运是相同的，贾迈尔就是拉提卡，就是盲童，就是任何一个贫民窟里可怜不能自主命运的孩子；不同的是，贾迈尔有一个爱自己舍命保护自己的哥哥。

这也令最后实现梦想的贾迈尔和拉提卡一起共舞的欢乐画面充满了辛酸的泪水。

因为这个画面是残缺的，三个火枪手总不能在一起，总要牺牲其中一个才能保全另外两个。

正如所谓“鱼与熊掌，不可兼得也”，贾迈尔的人生充满了争斗和抉择Q\\\/A，最后梦想成真一半也令整个故事更具现实意味。

当贾迈尔快乐时，我们也神采飞扬，当贾迈尔处于险境时，我们也手心冒汗，当贾迈尔的女友拉媞卡离开他时，我们也黯然神伤。

　　非常值得观众去细细品味，里面很多的细节设置都有一种“微言大义”的感觉。

节目主持人给贾迈尔提得第一个问题竟然是问他某部电影的主演是谁，而那个主演恰恰是贾迈尔小时候最崇拜的，为了得到他的签名，还闹出了笑话，让人忍俊不禁。

这段情节有一种致敬的味道，很多导演由于特别崇拜电影这门艺术，会专门拍一部关于“电影的电影”，比如托纳托雷的，的，博伊尔大概是在这一段里，以自己的方式来向电影这门艺术致敬。

　　这部电影的成功得益于导演不粉饰、不矫情、不折腾。

贫民窟里的残酷人生，印度这个亚洲新兴国家的梦想和希望，通过克制的镜头栩栩如生地展现在观众眼前。

所以动人，在于它既拍出了真正的黑暗与残酷，而又在这样的残酷中未曾放弃其理想与纯真。

电影的很多段落颇似童话，但又将这童话很残酷的毁灭掉。

片中未放弃的理想的寄托，是主人公贾迈尔。

他未像哥哥舍利姆那样用自己的力量和野心去追求自己想要的东西，他只是从不放弃。

为了一个偶像的签名可以跳进粪坑，他不放弃伙伴，在逃出生天之后仍回到火坑寻找被困于黑帮的伙伴，他爱一个人，不论时间和环境怎样改变，仍像阿甘一样的绝无改变。

他没有任何的豪言壮举，惊世骇俗的举动，他只是一直，不抛弃，不放弃。

这个人物让庸庸碌碌的我们为之惭愧，警醒。
