这种对体力劳动的态度，至今仍在美国生活中的多种方面展现。

一个人被邀请去一个不仅舒适，而且拥有豪华的布置的家，并且有很多证据能证明这个家庭能够支付其国外旅行，昂贵的爱好，孩子的大学教育。
